About Me

Hey mama! I am Destiny - a millennial homeschool mom of three and mompreneur. My husband and I have been blessed with three amazing children, ages 3, 6 and 10, and we made the decision to homeschool after seeing the unique learning needs and opportunities for our family. Like many homeschooling families, we quickly realized how important it was to have a supportive community of other black homeschooling families - both for our kids and for us as parents.

Our homeschooling journey began as a leap of faith. At first, it felt overwhelming trying to balance lessons, activities and our every day lives. I longed for a space where my kids could connect with other homeschoolers and I could exchange ideas, resources and encouragement with other moms on the same path. That need for connection inspired me to use my platform to create a Homeschooling Community designed to bring together homeschooling families and foster meaningful relationships and provide our children with enriching social and educational experiences.

Our homeschool experience has been filled with lessons, challenges, and lots of growth. By building this community, I hope to create a space where families like ours can find the support and friendship we all need, so no one feels alone in their homeschooling journey.
